2.      Prof. Wendy Wang, recipient of China Institute’s Faculty Development Grant, visited China and continued her comparative research project, July, 1998.

3.      Prof. Angela Lew’s visit to Beijing and Hangzhou, October, 1998.

4.      Prof. Elliot Mininberg and Prof. Justine Su’s visit to Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, and Guangzhou, December, 1998.  Professors Mininberg and Su hold honorary professorship from three Chinese colleges and universities.
